Compromise

Compromise, compromise, compromise. A drug justified. Compromise now televised. Updates hellified. Tumbled and twitterizied. Faith is scraped and shaped, molded and raped to the world’s face so it will conform to us, not us to Him. Compromise celebrated. Elated from news of career moves, love status cartoons, dreams pursued, but who got the guts to ask for what you gained, what did you loose? Compromise. Conviction plagerized. Read: Religion: Christian. For real? What am I missing? Honestly, seems like we lost the mission. Celebrating pop standards and facebook status instead of our heart condition. Equaling hollow religion. Compromise. Sold everyday, in everyway, to all ages. Packaged in every shape, on every space, to make wages. You would think if you had come to know the one God of all places, you would recall what’s written in His pages. But its adjacent, not in direct view of your arrangment. So you slice and dice, take what you like, throw out what don’t jive and comply. Then when it’s all said and done, people clapping with everything under the sun. Compromise will be the gun that shot your purpose as a son. ‘Cuz applause from everyone does not equal claps from Heaven. Compromise will be your reward. Getting ahead your religion. Congradulations. You forgot the mission.
